Following the closure of Nursing Review last year, Health Central is now focused on continuing to publish strong and relevant nursing content as well as bringing nursing issues to the attention of a much wider health sector audience.
One aspect of Nursing Review that Health Central is particularly keen to see continue is its professional development learning activities section.
The College of Nurses also places great value in this section and as such will now be able to offer this exclusively to their members.
The content in this section will be password protected. The College will provide its members with a password to this section, but is happy for anyone with an interest in the professional development activities to contact them.
College of Nurses Executive Director Professor Jenny Carryer is delighted with the new partnership.
“The College is pleased that the expertise, views and perspectives of nurses will now be present in a wider health forum shared and read by a range of health professionals and health sector workers. This is a good move towards the all-important multi-disciplinary approach to health service delivery,” she says.
“Alongside this we are delighted that Health Central will retain, for College members, a section devoted to professional development learning opportunities and CNE points. We really look forward to maintaining the relationship with Health Central that we enjoyed with Nursing Review.”
The College of Nurses NZ now has a dedicated page on Health Central; you can visit this here.
