During this year’s lecture series, we have highlighted areas of major progress in health. However, many other problems and opportunities remain, and this final lecture in the series will consider some of these: mental health, diabetes, pharmacy and rheumatic fever.

Speakers and topics:
– ‘BITS BOTS and Beyond: The promise and challenge of technology in improving mental health’ from Professor Sally Merry
– ‘Diabetes and obesity – when one size does not fit all’ with Associate Professor Rinki Murphy
– ‘People not potions: the re-professionalisation of pharmacy’ by Assoc Prof Jeff Harrison
– ‘New initiatives in rheumatic fever’ with Professor John Fraser and Dean of the Faculty
